Technology availability is not limited to availability of individual technology IT component. It also covers understanding
the impact of failure on the overall service availability and identifying ways to improve the same. The Availability
Manager must proactively monitor and analyze the availability data and the overall technical architecture and design. In
addition, the availability mechanisms must be tested and test data must be analyzed. Based on the analysis, the
Availability Manager must identify improvement suggestions to optimize the overall technology architecture for better
